1) You Got Married
A study by Duke University Medical Center researcher 4,802 people and found that those who were married through their middle decade were much less likely to have an early death. The study's researchers believe that having a partner throughout life's challenges make life much easier to deal with.
2) You Don't Stress
A 2012 study from the British Medical Journal found that your chance of stroke and heart attack increase 20% when one suffers from chronic stress.
3) You Look Young
A 2009 British Medical Journal study found that in 1,826 twins, the twin who looked older died before the younger looking twin. If their difference in age was large, the older twin was much more likely to die earlier than if the difference was smaller. Make efforts to look and feel healthy and you'll live longer as a result.
4) You're Not Alone
Researchers from Brigham Young University found that loneliness and social isolation can be as life threatening as obesity. The researchers proposed that their study's findings prove that more positive psychology leads to better overall health, emotionally and physically.
