Weight Shifts are very important because they help strengthen a Senior's center of gravity. One's center of gravity is located around your belly button. Weight shifts exercise these important muscles around the belly button. These muscles are essential for keeping balance while walking.
Towards the end of the demonstration, there is important information for the caregiver's role in the Weight Shift exercise.
