Late last year MedicCast TV featured the Mangar line of inflatable floor lifts at the EMS World Convention.

The episode featured both the Safety and Risk Management Officer and the Chief Operating Officer of the Richmond, Virginia Ambulance Authority.

Rob Lawrence, the Chief Operating Officer of the Authority, has placed the Mangar line of patient lifts into half of their ambulance fleet and soon plans on expanding to their entire fleet.

Lawrence had recently served as Chief Operating Officer for the English County of Suffolk as part of the East of England Ambulance Service.

Their he had extensive first hand experience with the Mangar emergency lift cushions. In Suffolk County and most of the UK Mangar Lifts (Camel or Elk) are placed into every ambulance.

Lawrence continues highlighting the benefits, not only to the caregiver' s muscoskeletal health, but protecting the dignity of the patient. One of the first patients they responded to in Richmond had been surprised by how dignified it was not to be pulled, ripped or pushed to stand. The next week, the woman later came in and cut a $10,000 check donation.

The Safety and Risk Management Officer continued discussing the direct correlation between the reduction in caregiver's injuries and the reduction of healthcare costs for your organization or company over all.

The MedicCast TV Episode is fantastic example of the dependability and quality of the Mangar Humane Lift collection of Elk and Camel emergency floor lift cushions.
